Does the announcement "Fair is foul, and foul is fair" altogether communicates the numerous topics of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’? The first occasion when we hear the announcement is from the get-go in the play when the witches state the specific line "Fair is foul, and foul is fair" just for Macbeth himself to rehash it intently two scenes later. This reiteration of the lines gives me that the characters themselves accept that there are many foul occasions occurring. In this paper I will try to demonstrate that the above proclamation doesn’t express ‘Macbeth’ altogether. Right off the bat I will show the reasonable Macbeth himself corrupting into a foul cruel beast. Also, I will contrast the witches with Macbeth to exhibit the genuine indecency in these characters.
